Our Story
Ripple Design & Marketing emerged as a response to the frequent discord between branding studios and marketing agencies.
Despite their similarities, these two sectors demand distinct skill sets and harbour little interest or time for each other. Typically operating under separate roofs, these businesses often encounter collaboration challenges, leading to blame-shifting and leaving clients frustrated and dissatisfied.
At Ripple, we believe in a more integrated approach and advocate for the unity of both industries.
By seamlessly combining compelling brand design and strategic marketing under one roof, Ripple has successfully implemented a process that brings together brand designers and marketers. This has significantly improved communication between the two professions, fostering a more robust and streamlined collaboration.
Our approach involves implementing marketing strategy into every facet of design, infusing purpose and value into the creative process and ensuring clients enjoy a “hands-off” experience and a convenient one-stop shop for all their business communications moving forward.
LEADERSHIP TEAM
GAVIN WIESKE
CO-FOUNDER | MARKETING DIRECTOR
Gavin is a savvy marketing expert with an understanding of all things business-related. With more than eight years of experience in sales and marketing, Gavin is a key driver of strategic initiatives at Ripple Design and Marketing. As a co-founder, his career took root in the software industry, where he worked as a marketing manager, developing a keen understanding of the business landscape. At Ripple, Gavin leads marketing and sales strategies, utilizing his knowledge and experience to foster growth and enhance engagement.
Outside of work, Gavin likes to spend time with his family, sharing his life with his wife and three children. He also enjoys watching various sports and engaging in activities such as hockey and golf.
TYSON ENDEMAN
CO-FOUNDER | CREATIVE DIRECTOR
Tyson is a tenured designer with over ten years of experience in consumer brands, web design, UI/UX, and small business branding. He began his career working at large agencies in Toronto, contributing to brands such as Kraft Heinz, Tim Hortons, President’s Choice, Grupo Bimbo, and Corby Spirits, among others. Tired of the commute to the city, he later shifted his focus to building his career at a more localized level in Hamilton and the surrounding areas. Tyson believes his experience at larger agencies has enabled him to bring more extensive business strategies and scalable design thinking to smaller businesses.
Aside from work, Tyson enjoys spending time with his wife, extended family, and friends. His hobbies and interests include fishing, hockey, and baseball.
JAMIE K.
LEAD WEB DEVELOPER
Jamie is a skilled front-end web developer and animator with a creative flair. Trained in illustration and design, Jamie has worked professionally as an illustrator, animator, web developer, and team leader in the education industry. Freelancing gave Jamie a wide range of skills in pure HTML/CSS/JavaScript, Squarespace, and more to add to his 15+ years of WordPress experience.
When Jamie’s not making his clients’ dreams come true, he loves spending time with his family and experimenting with interactive programming and animation.
